7th DECEMBER 2022, 09:35. “I know this year is ending well for me!”
It was a cold winter morning with a ‘soothing monoman music‘ in the background, I sit on couch in my pyjamas, holding a hot cup of Tea and taking a bite of my favourite butter cookie.
I pick my book and pen with an intention to write all those sunflower thoughts I had, and I ever wanted to practice when the year started. The mindset that I wanted to coach myself this year.
So below are my most favourite 21 points that worked well for me to match up with the image of me on my mind.
I hope the pointers below, a small read, would make you feel connected, comfortable, and would be worth practising.
Here we go!
1.) I hope you’ll be as capable to hold on to someone as much they hold on to you.
2.) Let coffee times in the evening be your favourite thing that you await all day and have love for a thriller book along the way.
3.) Plan something in advance every month that keeps you excited for weeks.
4.) I hope it becomes a normal thing for you to give and take appreciation.
5.) I wish everyone could see worth of people as much as they could easily see their flaws.
6.) I hope that you guard your mental health as well as others by communicating about your boundaries clearly.
7.) I hope we all be prepared to take a ‘NO’ for an answer without questioning.
8.) Make them feel protected when someone trust you enough to be vulnerable with you.
9.) Promise less. But once promised, keep up with it.
10.) Negative gossiping can sabotage your self-worth. Not entertaining a negative gossip when you are around can only bring you respect in return.
11.) Don’t play with others feelings just because it makes you feel good and feel you are needed.
12.) You can save words on everything else, but when you are sorry, make sure others know it through your words.
13.) Let’s stop assuming when we are still reachable to communicate and clarify.
14.) Sharing your New year resolution isn’t enough if you don’t coach yourself enough to do it.
15.) In a conversation, keep it less about you and more about the other person who is listening to you. Keep the conversation two-sided.
16.) Trust the energy, my friend. Trust the energy.
If you feel disconnected from someone, that’s the truth.
If you feel loved by someone, that’s the truth.
Thoughts and energy are two different things. Energy is determined by how you feel even when you shut down your thoughts.
17.) If you are lucky enough, you’ll witness two-faced people. When you identify, resist yourself from still keep giving it all. Take the power you have within to say “this isn’t for me”.
18.) Learn to value what contribute to your deeper self. People, things, animals, work, food, and places. Learn to see it’s worth, and feel grateful because they chose to serve you.
19.) Don’t judge people by their mistakes, perhaps their mistakes are the only teachers they could ever afford to learn life.
20.) Remember: “Make your kindness and your goodness work for you, and not against you.”
What I mean?
“Sometimes in order to please someone, you pour all your goodness at the cost of losing your inner peace. You can impress people with your goodness, but they can’t protect you from the damage you cause to yourself.“
21.) The only answer for everything is found by asking good questions.
“Keep asking yourself more questions to have a better understanding of yourself. Go to the rock bottom to find where it is all rooted from.“
